Senate Approves N53bn For Security Agencies Towards Conduct Of 2019 Elections

The Senate has accepted the funds for safety companies for the 2019 elections.

The approval was granted through the Senate’s plenary session on Tuesday, after a report was offered by Senator Goje Danjuma for the Committee on Appropriations on the funds of safety companies for the 2019 basic election.

Senator Bassey Akpan seconded the movement for the Senate to obtain and contemplate the report.

A complete of N53 billion was accepted for the Workplace of the Nationwide Security Adviser and safety companies for the supervision of the overall elections.
