‘Don’t Give Up On Our Nation’ — Jonathan Sends Easter Message To Christians
Goodluck Jonathan, former President, has urged Nigerians not to surrender on their nation.
Jonathan stated this on Thursday night in his Easter message to Christians.
“Easter is a time Christians rejoice the loss of life and resurrection of Jesus Christ who supplied Himself as a sacrifice for the remission of the sins of the world. Christ’s resurrection as a sworn statement of the brand new covenant is the justification for Christians’ commemoration of the triumph of life over loss of life, freedom over bondage and hope over despair, presently,” he stated in a short assertion he launched on his official Fb web page.
“I, subsequently, urge us not to surrender on our ourselves and our nation irrespective of the challenges that confront us at present. Always we should stay resolute on our love for God and our nation and work in the direction of constructing a rustic that we are able to all be happy with.
“Via our religion and collective actions, we’ll overcome the tempests of violence, distress, and insecurity that threaten our nation. We’re greater than conquerors and the way forward for our nation is brilliant, if we work as one.
“Could God fill our houses with peace, love, and pleasure whilst we benefit from the abundance of Grace that Easter brings. Comfortable Easter! –GEJ”
