Wisconsin man to spend life in prison for kidnapping Jayme Closs, killing her parents
A Wisconsin man will spend the remainder of his life in prison for kidnapping Jayme Closs, 13, and killing her parents.
Jake Patterson, 21, was sentenced Friday in Barron County. He pleaded responsible in March to two counts of intentional murder and one rely of kidnapping. He admitted to abducting Jayme in October and killing her parents, James and Denise Closs.
The teenager was held captive in a distant cabin for 88 days earlier than she escaped.
Patterson was sentenced to life in prison with out launch on every murder rely and 25 years in prison on the kidnapping rely. The sentences shall be served consecutively.
