Tragedy as fast-rising Nigerian rapper Cameey dies of liver cancer

– Upcoming Nigerian rapper, Joel Essoumam aka Cameey died on August 22, 2019

– According to reports, the rapper was said to have been battling hepatitis B which later degenerated into cancer

– Friends of the deceased have taken to social media to mourn him

Living long enough to achieve one’s dream is what many people pray, hope and walk towards achieving. While some have been able to do so with others still putting in the work, it is sadly the end of the road for Joel Essoumam.

Many fans and friends were recently thrown into mourning after Nigerian upcoming rapper better known by his stage name, Cameey, died of cancer.

According to reports, the fast rising rapper was said to have been battling hepatitis B which later degenerated into cancer of the liver. He died on Thursday aftertoon, August 22.

Meanwhile, Simon Godwin Idoko, the young man, who was celebrated in 2018, for graduating with a first-class degree in pure and applied chemistry from Usmanu Danfodiyo University has reportedly passed away after battling illness.

Legit.ng had reported that the first class graduate was celebrated all over the country after it was revealed that he took the Joint Admission Matriculation Board exam six times before he passed and was admitted into the university.
