AAC Lagos Meet at to discuss privatisation of electricity distribution

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 09 MEETING AT ORILE IGANMU. Meeting commenced at 4pm, with Comrade Juwon Sanyaolu taking the lead on the privatisation of electricity distribution across the country. He explained how the ruling class have cunningly shared ownership of Dicos among few persons, noting that both government and electricity distribution companies are same entities. He informed that Nigerians need to keep engagiing these rulers, as they have failed to renationalise the discos. Barrister Tope Akinyode in his speech, noted the very backward situations in Nigeria today as the rulers keep on with their primitive accumulation and leave the poor masses to feed on crumbs. He therefore urged residents of Orile community to keep resisting government's shenanigans, while assuring them of his legal representation whenever such service is required, and at no cost. Comrade Kofo Beckley requested that the meeting observe a minute silence for the deceased member who passed away, Sunday September 08. She then urged residents to unite in resistance, as agitations in large numbers is quite capable of intimidating thugs and policemen who may try to disperse protesters.
She was quick to encourage the womenfolk to join the AAC party and her revolutionary movement of #TakeItBack. According to her, the AAC party is poised to restore our country to her place of pride. She noted that it has become pertinent for African women to find radical ways to come together and build a society which can provide them financial independence. She added that women are drivers for sustainable development in any nation. In his words, Lagos Chair of the AAC, Comrade Kunle Wizeman Ajayi chided government's insensitivity to the plight of residents, especially in the area of electricity supply. He made a call for active participation in the next national protest day of #RevolutionNow slated for September18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RXwoCHEZiw
