Liverpool win prestigious award ahead of Chelsea, others

– Liverpool supporters have emerged the best-looking in the Premier League

– Chelsea fans are second that many will like to spend the night with the most

– Manchester United fans beat Arsenal to claim third spot

Liverpool fans have been voted the best-looking in the Premier League by opposition supporters ahead of their clash against Chelsea on Sunday, September 23, at Stamford Bridge.

According to a Sportbible report, citing a survey from Free Super Tips, Liverpool fans emerged top of the log for the best-looking supporters and the ones that fans would prefer to spend the night with.

A further breakdown of votes showed that Liverpool fans got 26 per cent ahead of second-placed Chelsea with 20 per cent.

Manchester United fans are placed third after garnering 18 per cent of the vote and Arsenal are closely behind at fourth with 17 per cent.

On the other hand, Southampton fans were voted the worst-looking fans out of the20 Premier League club, with the Saints securing just one per cent of the vote.

Watford and Sheffield United finished 18th and 19th respectively after securing two per cent vote each.

However, 55 per cent of the fans admitted they were willing to spend the night with a rival supporters, showing that more fans are not concerned the club a fan supports.

Reacting moments after the exercise, Free Super Tips spokesman Jake Apperley, took time out to explain the importance of their findings.

“The survey shows an interesting attitude football fans have towards other clubs.

“Fans tend to have a negative perception of the top six, so it’s extraordinary to see that majority of supports would want to bed one of their supporters,” Apperley summed up.
