The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s trip to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The opposition party urged the president to use the opportunity at the meeting address world leaders on reports by the European Union (EU), African Union (AU) and other international bodies over the 2019 general elections.

A statement by the national publicity of PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, on Sunday, September 22, also urged the president to address the world on reported issues of violations of human rights among many others in Nigeria.

The PDP insisted that Buhari should address the world on the UN Rapporteur’s report as well as issues of violent division and insecurity in the country under his administration.

Ologbondiyan said: “The PDP states that these are facts known to all and for which the world is demanding answers from the Buhari Presidency.”
