– Aubameyang who joined Arsenal in January 2018 has 18-months left on his current deal

Premier League side Arsenal are now facing serious battle to keep new captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is wanted by Barcelona as a replacement for Luis Suarez.

Luiz Suarez’s days at Barcelona are now numbered with the club planning for a better replacement and they see Aubameyang as the best option.

But the reigning Spanish champions will pray that Arsenal does not qualify for next season’s Champions League which could help them in landing Aubameyang.

Since the Gabon international joined Arsenal from Dortmund in January 2018, he has not signed a renewal.
