Suspected Herdsmen Kill Lord’s Chosen Pastor’s Wife In Benue

Some yet-to-be-identified attackers have invaded the home of the wife of a pastor of the Lord’s Chosen Church, Mrs Eunice Omaye Odoba, in Otukpo town, Benue State, stabbing her to death.

SaharaReporters learnt that Odoba was stabbed in the chest on Sunday morning.

Some church members of the Lord’s Chosen in Otukpo, who reportedly did not see her during church service, were said to have gone to the house to check on her, only to discover her lifeless body.

The husband is said to be the pastor of a branch of a Lord’s Chosen Church in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

“We received a call from church members from the Lord’s Chosen branch in Otukpo who came to check on her after they discovered that she didn’t come to church today.

“The church members raised the alarm after they met her lifeless body in her kitchen where she was lying on the floor with blood stains. She was stabbed in the chest at the top most part of her left breast,” a source revealed.

The incident was reported at the Otukpo Police Division and the body was evacuated to a morgue by police operatives.

It is not clear yet whether the police has made any arrest over the murder.
